Sterilisation using UVC radiation is environmentally friendly, gentle (as it is free from chemicals) and highly efficient; it destroys the structure of DNA and RNA strands in a short time, preventing bacteria, viruses and fungal spores from reproducing and killing them. This means that the effective range is 99.9% after just a few minutes.
